These two producers met in their hometown of Peterborough and quickly formed a strong alliance. Functioning as a powerful production duo now based in Toronto, Locked & Erbalist have both made a name for themselves together as one, and seperately. With vinyl releases forthcoming on both VIP Dubz as well as Montreal's Humble Recordings, these two are ready to smash 2008 with their unique blend of jump up.

Locked
 While some artists are destined for great things, only those who put in hard work and show dedication for their craft can get ahead in the world of drum'n'bass. With 10 years experience behind the boards producing a plethora of musical stylings ranging from punk rock to big bass electro, Locked has spearheaded a movement dubbed 'hard jump' and truly found his niche in the DNB game. Over the past year several labels from around the world have picked up and released his music on 12" vinyl, including Capital J's VIP Dubz imprint, Montreal heavyweights Humble Recordings and the UK-based Dreadnaught Recordings. With several upcoming releases set to drop worldwide throughout the remainder of 2011, Locked is truly poised to bring his music to a broader audience across the globe.
Known widely for his trademark dancefloor smashing, bassbin breaking 'jump-up' sound, Locked destroys dancefloors and pulvarizes sound systems with driving, bass-heavy synths, and powerful, pulsating drum patterns. His sets are mostly comprised of his own produced material, which has earned him a reputation as one of Toronto's best-kept secrets and most slept on, yet sought after producers.

Erbalist
 ERBALIST has been steadily working his way up the jump up drum'n'bass circuit for many years now. He began DJing in his hometown of Peterborough, ON in 1998 and quickly developed a following and reputation for his flawless mixing and energetic sets. Erbalist would spend many years honing his skills on the decks, having toured around Ontario extensively in the years following his debut. He soon began trying his hand at production and quickly excelled in developing his own signature sound. Now based in Toronto, he and production partner Locked have seen many triumphs and successes lately as their tunes hit record stores around the world. With vinyl releases already on Montreal's Humble Recordings and upcoming releases on Capital J's VIP Dubz imprint and UK jump up heavyweights Dreadnought, not to mention a solid flow of live bookings, the future is looking bright.
